Nudism is not bad for kids. I have been a nudist for years and some of the mentally healthiest, polite and perfectly normal kids I have ever known are nudists. I would check out the camp/resort first. If it is associated with the AANR it is a safe family camp. Nudism is a really great way to bring up children and instill respect for their body and the body of others.

It's certainly not harmful for a kid to simply see other naked people. All else being equal, it's probably even beneficial - it teaches that their own body is nothing to be ashamed of, and it gives them a realistic view of what people actually look like, before Hollywood and porn can warp their view of what a "normal" body is.

Families bring their kids to nudist beaches and resorts all the time with no ill consequence to speak of. As they grow older they might come to view their parents as "weird" and not want to participate anymore - but that generally seems to come from the normal teenage desire to conform rather than having to do with anything specific to nudism.

The only other potential issue is that of pedophiles and predators, who might be attracted to a place with naked children about. But I believe that threat is overblown - it's actually less of an issue at nude resorts precisely because nudists are so vigilant of it. As a parent, the same rules should always apply, in a nudist setting or not - never let them out of your sight, teach them to use good judgment, etc.

Nothing wrong with it at all. All children should be brought up without shame of their bodies and without the mystery of other bodies of either sex. Frankly I believe this would in the long run reduce the perversion out there today. Go for it, it's good for your kid but ensure the club, beach or where ever you go is a safe family nudist environment.

My parents were nudists and meant well. Nevertheless, me and most other kids of nudists grew up to be rather skeptical about the whole approach. Of course the human body is nothing to be ashamed off - that's self-understood. But having a penis hanging into your face all day long as a toddler is not necessary the best way to learn that. I was not particularly eager to see my parents naked - it felt forced and artificial. Nudity is OK if it happens in a context like dressing or undressing - if it becomes an ideology your kid will develop resistance. And I can't blame him/her.

well it depends on the situation like if the nudist camp has perverts in it then no it wouldnt be a good idea to have your kid around nudist people who are perverts but then again society see's nudism as perverted but people who are not nudist seem to forget we are all born nude so if nudism was so wrong then why are we born nude so my answer to you is no nudism is not wrong and btw i am no nudist but that is my opinion.

"criminal tendencies increase...with no clothes or with very less clothes in public places." Not quite sure how you make that associative leap...but I'd say, that it probably boils down to personal anxiety; because it is currently regarded as something outside our accepted "social norms" to see someone without clothes. If this situation occurs then we see it as a "deviant" behaviour, not because it is inherently wrong in any sense of the word, but because it is not normal to us and we immediately seek to bring the person doing it back into line, to get them to conform to our social norms etc...if everyone did it then that would be normal and people would be accustomed to it...would wearing clothes then bring the same anxiety? interesting...you would probably find that it would. Ultimately then, it is only society that has deemed it to be unacceptable as opposed to natural...which, at the end of the day, it must have been at some point or other in human history...and indeed still is in some parts of the world, and their children are not mentally scarred for life by the experience! On the other hand, it's funny how it's always the "unattractive crowd" that feels the need to gad about "au naturale" waving their unslightly flab and dangling appendages around with reckless abandon. I have to say I'm not all that keen on seeing that in the queue at the meat counter whilst waiting to buy a pound of sausages or having my dinner in a restaurant tbh...time and place for everything I guess!?

Although I myself am not a nudist. I think there nothing wrong with being nude in your own home or in a camp as long as it is purely for the reason of not wanting to wear clothes. Lots of families in European countries walk around home , at the beach-nude. From talking to them as adults who have experienced this culture-there is much respect for the human body.

hi...
i guess kids always imitate people surround them. Well, kid are our next hope. We want they better that us. Maybe, it's not rigth to introducing the nudism to your kid now. U can tell him/her to confidence to their own bodies on the others ways. Let they decides the rigth way to their own life. Rigth now, give them all the knowledge about life, survive, and how to respect people and themselves.
