They're not necessarily more athletic. As far as I know, African Americans have faster "fast twitch" muscles which makes the muscles contract faster, which in turn makes them faster as a whole. But to say more athletic means taking in all facets of sports, which is probably about equal.

Maybe because whites are more intelligent then blacks, thus giving them more employment opportunities. Hence they don't focus as much on sports as blacks do. Since blacks have less to fall back on they focus more on sports are crap I mean rap music.
