There isn't any trash in my bathroom, and I keep it pretty clean, but for the past 2 days there has been at least 15 flys found dead in there or flying around. They arn't in any other room in my house and I keep my bathroom door closed. So they are coming from inside that room. I can't figure it out. I've heard of "Drain Flys", but these flys are actual FLYS and they are pretty decent sized. No windows in my bathroom either. So.. Does anyone have any suggestion as to where they are coming from and how I can get rid of them? Please help. I am totally disgusted! lol.

Check around the base of your toilet for holes in the floor. Try around the sink drain where it goes into the wall. Fly lavar need water and food to become flies.

You may want to consider going to a hardware store and getting a insecticide bomb. Put it into the bathroom and close the door.

They may be comming from one of the drains. If there is a sink or shower that is never used, the P-Trap may have dried out. Pour some water down the drain. If that didn't help then a Mouse may have died in the wall somewhere in that room and the flys you see are the ones that made it out. Let's hope it's the drain,

A fly must have gotten in there and laid some eggs. Must be some place damp.

I had the same problem in a family room. 2 years in a row, just 1 day, I came home from work, it was summer, 1/2 the room full of flys, hundreds of them. I got out the wet-dry vac. Sprayed some fly killer spray in it. Dump ammonia in the bottom and sucked them in.

No idea where they came from or why only in the one part of the room.

If you have an exhaust fan in your bathroom, they're coming in through the vent. I have them all the time. They're always flying around in the bathroom and nowhere else. They are so weak, that they bounce off the walls and drop. Then they try again. Usually when they fall I can get to them and flush them down the toilet. Sorry, it's not pretty. That's how I get rid of them.

one thing that I can think of is since it is winter out the mice do like to come indoors. I live in the country and sometimes a mouse will come in and die in the wall. if they came get in then so can a fly. they will then lay their eggs and before you know it you've got flies. the best thing to do is check for a rodent problem and find how they are getting in and seal it.

Maybe two flies or something got in your bathroom when the door was opened and reproduced. If there is a plant in your bathroom, I'd remove it.
