Any quick fixes to make it come out

massage your breasts, then take a hot shower, as hot as you can stand it, and let the water beat down on them. then try nursing the baby, or pumping. also, try walking around without a bra on and lean forward for a little while. when the milk starts shooting out let them leak onto a towel. Remember that the best way to empty them is to nurse the baby. when the baby does start nursing he/she will probably get choked because the milk will be coming out fast. when this happens let it leak onto a towel until it stops, then nurse again. you may have to do this a few times before the baby can nurse continually.

hope this helps

It's possible that the baby (or pump) isn't able to get any milk out because you're too engorged.

In this case, hand-expressing a little will help soften up the areola and make nursing or pumping easier.

Start with warm-packs, as others have suggested, then follow the technique shown here to hand-express:

Once you've got the areola softened up enough, latch your baby on. They're a far better milk-extracting-machine than anything we've invented. ;P

Good luck. I know it can be painful, but this, too, shall pass.

Get a warm washcloth and place it over your breast...it'll help the milk to come out. Just get a cup and place it under your breast so you don't waste the milk. Also, standing under the warm shower helped me...it would allow some milk to come out so I could pump or nurse.

Get in a hot shower and under the pressure of the water the milk will "Let down". Are you running a fever? If so check this out with your DR.

Have the baby nurse. It's more effective than pumping. Or you may have aplugged duct http://www.llli.org/NB/NBMarApr06p68.html
