It's a Horror/slasher film
there are alot of fans of thise kinds of films...I don't mind watching one once in awhile either...some are cheezy and funny while others are creepy, scary and fun.
If you know anything about these films you would know that horrible scary stuff always happens on some kind of holiday
examples:
My Bloody Valentine
Happy Birthday to me
Halloween
Mothers Day
Silent night Deadly night
Prom night
ect. ect. ect.
If you don't like these type of films...don't watch it.
Personally I won't go see it not because it falls on Christmas day but because these types of films have become too gory for my taste , it seems like each film has to outdo the last one in gore.
Leave the film alone and let horror fans enjoy it.
it's not defacing Christmas like the anti Christian movement or commercialization or political correctness is anyway....

I agree. and that i do no longer think of there are any smart-cracking grannies in black remakes. :-. i should be incorrect nonetheless... i think the consensus interior the media is that black people will no longer be able to have an interest in mainstream movies. I agree that i hit upon it clean to verify black people in non-stereotypical roles yet that doesn't propose I in no way watch movies starring people who are not black. i don't understand a unmarried black person who does. everybody needs to verify themselves pondered of their media, in spite of the shown fact that it does not must be to the factor the place they are basically remaking movies that we've all possibly considered in the past. arise with some new fabric, Hollywood, or am I going to ought to initiate writing screenplays?

Idk...I like scary movies & it does look a little greusome but I think I would watch it. But I really don't like the idea of them putting it out on Christmas Day. I mean it's a holiday to celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ and they kinda ruined it. I mean, who would want to watch something like that on Christmas when you're supposed to be happy???
