It means not driving 700 miles home to see my family, but to instead get good and drunk and laugh at the silliness of it all. But then again, I might take the time to call old friends and chat with them on the phone I have not talked to for a while either.

All of the above, Spending too much money,feeling sick (literally and metaphorically),p..d off,fed up, pain in a..e.
more seriously,fed up with the commecialisation of it all,and the loss of the original meaning and purpose of christmas (and i am not religious).
All mention of christmas should be banned until the 18th of december, and then after the 27th of december.
at the moment in the uk, christmas seems to start at the beginning of october.

scrimping & saving,worrying like hell that you won't have sufficient funds to buy the presents you really want to for certain people.It also means that all traders have a field day raking in the cash then take the piss by reducing half the stuff in the january sales
