my friend has had 3 period in six weeks and is having problems getting pregnant. She is trying to take ovulation tests to see her most fertile time and the answer window is always light pink and lighter than the control window. Does that mean she is ovulating or is she missing her ovulation. Also what does the three periods mean? She has gone to the doc and he wants to put her on fertitlity pills but she is only 26 . I don't feel she needs this. What do you think?

I don't know about the ovulation test but I do know from my wife that trying to get pregnant and being unable to is very frustrating. It's nice to have people around you supporting you. My wife and I tried for almost one year to get pregnant without success. Found out she had polycystic ovaries and her eggs didn't release from the ovaries properly. She was only 22 when she got diagnosed. She took two cycles of fertility pills, slightly larger dose second time and got pregnant. Without the fertility pills or even going to the doctor to find out why she wasn't getting pregnant we could still be trying. That was five years ago and we have two kids now. Your friend could have a problem like that. Don't discourage her. There are many reasons she may not be getting pregnant and the stress is certainly not helping. Infertility doesn't care how old you are. Encourage and be supportive of your friends struggle to get pregnant.

1 period's enough...let alone 3. While I don't know much about what kit she's using. Having just had Cervial Polyps removed due to breakthru bleeding of 2x a month - I'd suggest she make sure her doctor gives her a darn good explaination. Better yet I think it's time to check out a new doctor's opinion. There could be a lot of things affecting her right now. Stress of getting pregnant as well. And before she goes on Fertility pills which can reek havoc on her body..... Have her Man get tested, smoking, heavy sweating and other small fixable causes and prevent the little guys for making it there.

The test line has to be the same as or darker than the control line. The three periods could be the sign of endometriosis or something else. If she's gone to the doctor then they should be testing her for problems. I'm 23 and have taken fertility drugs. You're not too young for it if you need them to get pregnant.

There could be something wrong so she may need fertility drugs. Just because she is 26 does not mean that she cant be infertile. There are many young people out there that are infertile. The doctor may be right in this case.

Unless her dr has done specific tests and knows she needs the drugs, she can try charting her cycles to see if she ovulates, I don't know much about ovo tests, but if they are like hpts, that must be getting pretty expensive having to test everyday. www.tcoyf.com has an charting software she can trial for 15days before deciding she wants to buy, it will also explain what to check while charting. she can then print them out to take to her dr.

I am only 25 an i do need to take4 fertility drugs. what does age have to do with any of this??? it is her body and what is going on in there nothing to do with you. sorry.

Test line has to be the same or darker than the control line....Keep testing 'til its the same color as the control line or darker......
