If there were many sleeper cells, at least as most people think of them, they would have attacked by now. Think of the thousands of ways there are to commit a terrorist attack that haven't happened. If there were sleeper cells all over the place, they would have taken advantage of these vunerabilities by now. I think at most there are two or three. And they probably aren't real sleeper cells, as much as homegrown terrorists. Was McVeigh part of a sleeper cell? Or The unibomber? Or even Richard Reid? Not really.

sure there sleeper terrorist cells in America. some are quite in the open if you use the definition of terror i do i.e. use of force coercion ,threats to achieve ones goals. look at the demonrats.;.. they use the force of 'law' to achieve their ends...unelected bureaurats with no oversight...making the population conform to the demonrat philosophy by means of ' regulations' not by laws passed by the elected officials. then there the mexican terrorists breaking our immigration laws by coming here illegally and screaming they are only here to work...when they are here to take Texas, California, Louisiana over to get at the oil and food produced there...demonrats do nothing and the republicants wont because they will be accused of racism by the liberal press..look at Trent Lott's treatment for speaking the truth at Strom Thurman's birthday party. then we get to the arabs who are here to kill all infidels because we don't pray five times to Mecca every day...instead we believe that Jesus was the son of Jehovah and that the way to heaven is through him and him alone. think if you are not a product of the government indoctrination centers which sit in every corner of America (sometimes they are mistakenly called schools) then use your head for something besides a hatrack and wake up!!!

I think there are probably some sleeper cells in America, but I don't think it amounts to very much. Muslim immigration to Europe is much more prevelant, and fanatical for that matter.

Unfortunately they are here but the ones who are asleep are too many of the American people. Indifference to this problem is the biggest part of the problem.

I agree with you ....one thousand percent.
Americans don't realize what is out there waiting to
strike us in the 'dark'.

Americans are the 'sleepers'.
Last time I posted a similar question to yours...
Yahoo Answers removed it because someone said
it 'offended' them.

Americans are so blind and naive....it really, really
scares me.
