Some things to do with plastic grocery bags
1)trash can liners (perfect size for bathroom cans)
2)stuffing for outdoor pillows or cushions
3)disposable "gloves" for picking up doggy doo.
4)placing old newspapers and magazines in for recycling.
5)trash bags for you car.
6)throwing out messy, smelly items like shrimp hulls or baby's diapers(tie securely and double or triple the bags)

Recycle them. You can use them as garbage bags or if you're shopping at somewhere like a grocery store that charges extra for bags you can reuse your own so you don't have to pay. One place I do this for is Superstore, I've never been to sure why they're so cheap and don't provide bags. They're also really good for automatic cat litter boxes, just put them in the end where the poop gets scooped then tie them up and toss them out. Grocery bags come in handy :)

It's fine if you use them as garbage bags, but they're not really a good size for this, take them back to the grocery store, they recycle them into new bags, Or some discount stores sometimes reuse the bags, reuse is always the best way to recycle.

I keep mine in a special little holder that I picked up at the grocery store. We use them for poopy diapers and they are also great packing material when you are shipping something (the bags not poopy diapers). Other than that, there are some stores that will give you a credit if your bring your own bags when you shop and yes, you can recycle them. I have found that it is pretty handy to have a few around!

I put mine in a drawer and use them for everything like little garbage can liners like the bathroom garbage can or my kids use them to pick up garbage and stuff around the house.or to put diapers in or something really smelly so it doesn't stink as much if you don't use them you could switch to paper bags or take them to the store with you and reuse them.

Awesome question! I have a whole shelf of them. I use them in my bathroom trash bucket, but they collect faster then they get used! Pack them tightly in one or two bags and bring them to places like Wal-mart, or your local grocery store chain (Hannafords for us). Usually they have a place to put the bags where they'll be recycled!

some grocery stores have a bin at the entrance of the store where you can return them to be recycled.

Some stores actually give you a rebate if you bring them back to their store. It is only a few cents a bag but it makes you feel like they are going to use somehow.
