Merry Christmas, i'm conservative so i say that... a liberal would say something like happy holidays....
The only things we have in common, hmmmm lets see, we both pee in a toilet, oh wait no, they go outside beneath their tree house.. ummmm how bout' we brush our hair, oh darn no, they don't do that either... o.k. i have one.. conservatives and Liberals both have e's in the word.... there that's it.

I assume you meant Republicans and Democrats. There are conservative democrats as well as liberal republicans, not many, but some exist. I believe the commonality to both is their love of this country. Both hold strong views on what path this country should go. It doesn't mean either party is more or less patriotic than the other.

I think we all have the same goals, just different roads to get there. Striving for some sort of Utopia here in the U.S. is a lot easier through a cooperative effort rather than crushing your enemies and promoting self with reckless abandon. Too many folks live in the past and don't learn the new, and others live for today dirsegarding the lessons of our past. It's those who can do both that make the most rational decisions.

Both love America and want what they believe is best for us now and in the future. We get so passionate about our different viewpoints that sometimes that passion manifests itself in the form of bitterness and disrespect. So it's good to remember that common ground. God Bless and Peace be with you.

Democrats and Republicans both love America, and think their vision for America is the only correct one. That's about it I think.
