Take Sometime to think about it and consider would you want to be his friend or would you want it as more if you would want it as more then say no because that way you would only be making it worse for yourself, if you would want to be friends with him then go for it

tell him you need time. most guys say that but never do anything about it so you dont really need to say anything because he's going to feel like crap and most likely wont approach you for a while.
