comfy but less pretty shoes or gpretty but less comfy shoes?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to decide between a pair of shoes to get ... there are two pairs that I really liked, the first one is really comfy, so nice to walk with and it fits very well. The only problem is that they don't look very femenine... not very pretty (they are not ugly, but still, the model could be better in terms of aesthetics...). The second pair, on the other hand is really pretty, but the heel is a little high for me, so they are not so comfortable... or maybe it's just that it'll take time to adjust... so what would you do if you were me??? I work sitting at a desk, but still, I like to look nice... but at the same time, I'd like to be comfortable... comfy pair or pretty pair? Thanks a lot.

Go with the less comfortable shoes - providing they are leather. They'll stretch to conform to your feet.
If the heel is too high you can buy those little insole pads at any good shoe store. They cushion fairly well without being obvious. You'll get used to the height.

It depends on how much walking and standing you do throughout the day. If you don't do much of either you could probably get away with the prettier shoes. If you are up and down from your desk walking or standing a lot you will want to go with the other shoes as your feet will thank you at the end of the day.

Reshop, try and find a bit of both, sexy yet comfy.


Some shoes are simply not made for some feet... take me for example. Can't wear stilletos, because my feet are too narrow and the backs often slip and tuck under the soles. Then my friend same height and size however wider fit has no problems.

Its life. Compromise.

Buy the cuter ones and carry sneakers for the days that you can not bear the pain.
