If I become a distributor, would I have to purchase a minimum amount each month in order to stay active?

Don't do it...
We were involved with a nutritional company that had us buy over $3800 worth of product just to be at the "Top profit level".
We found a company with an organic liquid supplement that is helping many people with their health and wealth. It has been around since 1984 and for the first 12 years it was only available thru Dr's. We have no inventory, pay no dues/fees, have zero startup costs, and reap all the benefits of a home based business. We buy only what we consume in the month and our downline is getting larger every month. They make money and we are happy knowing we are helping. It is changing many people's lives...
I will send you more info but only to your personal email.
I will not overload you but I gotta know you will be serious about starting a business.

If you want to receive commissions on your downline then yes. This also applies if you want to receive the quarterly catalogs from the company. If you are only interested in benefitting from the products @ a discount then no you are not required to submit a monthly order. You can also avoid paying the annual membership fee by placing a order (you will receive a e-mail from Shaklee on this as the incentives change). Hope this helps:)
