Trying to remember the name of a gameboy game, where you are an aircraft/spaceship of some sort, and you shoot the bad guys from your ship (while scrolling back and forth) and collect weapon and shield upgrades

There was another similar game as well where you could BUY weapons and upgrades.......? any help on that one?

if it's the one that eventually gets to the Easter Island heads that shoot at you, it's called Nemesis. This is the one where you collect the little black boxes and then choose a powerup like a laser, bombs, shields, a helper, speed and so on. Hope this helps.

My best bet is Nemesis, since I own that game and am in fact playing it right now. I let my gf play it and she said that as a kid she as well played a game very similar to Nemesis though that she actually confused it for Nemesis, too bad I do not remember the name of the game right now. Sorry man. But it could be Nemesis.
