You are going to have to find some mice somewhere. If you can't find any in your area you can order frozen online.
Snakes will not eat fruits or vegetables and meats from the grocery store are not going to give it the nutrients it needs.

You should be more specific. We have a blue racer and she likes goldfish, crickets and earthworms. When we had a corn snake she likes mice but the closed store is 72 miles away so we would buy extra and put them in air tight containers in the freezer and them lay them out for a couple of hours till they were unfrozen and feed Sir Hiss. If its going to be over two weeks you can trim some low fat (beef or chicken) in to small mouse size. Our snake wouldn't touch it. Your snake is counting on you to take care of him. You can find informational Internet sites or books. You should read up on him becuase there is a lot you should know about him to keep him healthy!!!!!

Why do you have an animal if you've not the means to feed it?
Common sense suggests that you go to the shop and buy some mice. If you can't get hold of any mice very soon, you shouldn't really have that snake.

i hope you know snakes dont eat fruits or vegetables if its not a long wait until you get mice then dont worry about it just wait till you get more snakes dont need to eat every day

it depends on the type of snake you have. milk snakes will eat grasshoppers and crickets while king snakes will eat other snakes.

little chunks of raw meat would work......something like chicken or beef......stay away from pork as the salt content is too high.
