I have MSN Verson 4.7. Does it log history from conversations? If so how do I retrieve it?

A fast way to see you you have archiving turned on is to Right click on a contact that yo have chatted with in the last few weeks...If " View Message History " is there click it...You should see tha last few chats. If not ...click Tools>Options> Messages. then check the box to keep history of messages.

not unless you want it to. look in messenger tools or options.
