My roommates been a good friend since i was like eight. We have our ups and downs and whatnot. Anyway I seriously dislike her amoral fiance/boyfriend (there not commiting to a date only to eachother bullshit). I can't really have a problem when there here together. I live here she lives here, he can stay here when shes around, theres nothing wrong with that. I dont even ***** when i hear them screwing. I just put the head phones on and pretend its not happening. Its probably good to mention that we live in a one bed room together and i stay mostly in the living room area on the futon and she has the bed in the bedroom.

I get that we dont have alot of personal space and we do all right all things considered, in fact mostly cause were both never home. We both work and go to school. However her boyfriends here when shes not and I seriously object to this. Am I just being unreasonable and bitchy. I just want my space!

your not being bitchy at all. everyone needs there space, and if shes been your friend for that long im sure if you asked her to go over to his place more often or even if you moved out i'm sure she would understand.
maybe not at first i mean sometimes even your bestfriends get hurt really easily and over react but im sure everything will work out. sometimes you just have to take a chance and see what happens. and now seems like one of those times.

especially if her boyfriend is there when she isnt that means hes over stepping his boundaries and you have the right to say no to at least that.

hope that helps! i def understand.

Is he paying part of the rent and bills that come into the place? If he is then you ARE being unreasonable, if he isn't tell both of them that if he is going to be living there he will have to come up with his share of the rent and bills, he will also have to be on the lease as well or when the landlord finds out all three of you can be evicted.

dude kick his A S S OUT . call the cops when he's there if your room mate is not, he has NO RIGHT to be there without her. better yet why don't you find a new roommate she is not very interested in your feelings or desires as half of the person who pays rent or (and especially) as a friend. Give notice and get out, shes an immature self centered b i t c h and not worth all the headaches your getting from her and the situation. good luck

You aren't being unreasonable. If your roomate and/or your roomate's boyfriend want the boyfriend to start living there full-time, you three need to talk, or at least you and your roommate. Your discomfort is understandable, especially if he's there often when she is not.

Especially with an area that small, your frustration is understandable.

No, you're not being unreasonable. You should talk to your roommate and try to work things out. You live there, not her boyfriend (unless he pays part of the rent.)

No way that is not unreasonable.
You need to have your space and have it respected. I would not consider a good friend to not recognize this. If you want to save your relationship with your friend I suggest you find another roommate.

No your not, and I don't blame you. He probably doesn't even help with the rent or cleaning does he? I would seriously think about moving in with another roommate somewhere, because I doubt if she would give him up for you.

Not being bitchy, the b/f needs to hang out somewhere else. Him there alone with you, could cause trouble down the road also.

I don't blame you. If he wants to be there when she isn't even there. He should be paying some rent. Talk to her about it, tell her how you feel about him being there when you two are both gone I would!!
