not solved, whatever, im researching for a project and i cant find any clear statement reaching the verdict

I'm not familiar with the case... but here's a few tips that might help you have a more successful search.

1. The name of the case indicates someone is suing the US government. If the original case was against Brinegar, than this is an appellate case...

2. If it's not an appellate case, you'd have to go to the court that tried the initial case to find out the resolution in the case. Trial-level decisions are not published. Appellate matters are.

3. If it IS an appellate case, then any decent law library will provide the answers to your question. Be nice to the law librarian and he or she will likely help you track it down...

4. If you live near a University with a Law Library.. have one of the law students run a Lexis/Nexis search on the case for you...
