Check eBay and see what they're going for at auction! You could even sell it to help make money for a new one!

In Singapore, no one wanted my Gamecube. Very little demand so the shops cannot move them. I am keeping it for my kids to play. The Gamecube games are quite a good price so I would keep an eye out for kiddy games for my kids. (And I will probaby get a Wii too ... :-) )

It depends if it's in good shape. I'm not sure if you'll get much. Just find a couple of stores that take old game systems. Find the best price. Bargain with them. I have a Wii. It's a great system. I suggest Madden 07, Legend of Zelda, and Rayman Raving Rabbids.

yeah, if you're lucky, the gamecube (if it is in mint condition) will probably go for $100 max. by a stroke of luck, you could pull it off, but keep an extra $150 minimum handy for the wii. you won't get a full trade for sure.

yea go with the ebay idea but you better have some other cash because for your gamecube your most probably gonna get a max of $100 if you're really clever. Spruce up the rest of the cash from somewhere else.
