USPS says that my package was delieverd today at 2:57. The thing is, these stupid people never even ring a bell - they just drop the box right in front of my porch. I live on a cul de saac (and my neighbor's aren't alway very nice) so who's to say someone didn't just pick it up? I searched everywhere! This is the second time this happened to me. The first time they lost my diamond ring for my mom. Thank goodness that was insured so they paid up. But THIS time, the ebay seller didn't have insurance offered, so I was forced to just go with it.

Does anyone know how I should report a package missing? Will they even believe me?

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Not much you can do, when you didn't get the insurance and you bought from ebay.

If you bought from someone else and used a credit card, you could have the credit card company charge it back.

You must have a neighbor that is a theif.

If USPS delivers on weekends, then obviously it includes a Saturday delivery too. Yet, just like the weekend deliveries, a USPS Saturday delivery can only be availed if you opt to use an upgraded mail service, and not the standard one.** Read complete information at the below link: **Does USPS Deliver On Saturday, Sunday Or Weekends? -

I gave thumbs down to the 2 that don't know the difference between UPS and USPS (United States Postal Service). You say that they claim the package was delivered at 2:57. The post office only records a delivery TIME for items that require a signature. If they claim it was delivered at 2:57, request a copy of the signature. If they can't provide one, someone is lying.

They probally wont believe you but you should have a sitdown with the delivery guy, a supervisor or something, and sort it out. Maybe get the police involved and file an insurance claim for robbery.

hmm sometimes there is some insurance. Depends on how the package was shipped. You can try talking to UPS but I am betting since they feel like they delivered it......

Do you have an address where you work or the address of someone who is always home? You could try shipping to another address.

I'd report it to UPS and discuss with them how they shouldn't just leave packages on your doorstep. As for the neighbors, try installing a hidden camera, catches the thief's every time.
