b/c everyone says it is and i get freaked out by thats stuff and i wanna no if its true or not

Yes, it is true.

The rhyme saying Lizzie Borden gave her mother 40 whacks and her father 41 is not true, her mother got 9, her father 11.
We cannot say for sure that the story was 100% true, as she was never found guilty.

The Lizzie Borden trials certainly did happen, but the identity of the killer and some details of the case remain unknown.

Yeah, lizzie borden took an ax, gave her mother 40 wacks. when she saw what she had done, she really did give her father 41. I saw like a documentary on it, but i forgot where. but all that stuff about the house being haunted and all that, i don't believe that's true. but, who knows.

It's a true story about Lizzie. Back in the day it was less likely to get caught for crimes of such magnitude before DNA testing and blood testing equipment. The trial was held in Sommerville NJ. She was so sweet and petite it didn't seem to people that knew her that she could ever do such a thing.. If she was really not guilty she must have been nuts!

Yes they say it is really true, but my understanding is that it was never really proven who the murderer was, tough Lizzie Borden was blamed.

she was accused of killing her stepmother and father..her parents were hacked to death with an ax ..although lizzie claimed she was out in the barn at the time she was accused of the murder and tried but she was found not guilty...the murders were never solved..

Yes its true. They never convicted her though so it is not 100% that she killed her father or stepmother. But its true that the incident happened

well yeah it happened in fall river, ma. the house isn't haunted or anything, its just a girl who killed her family. it happens everyday now, but back than it was something unusual. so it received a lot of attention.
