I decided to research this vital question to humanity, and what I found was amazing. Spiders blood is a clear fluid, which doesn't contain hemoglobin, but a vastly more complex moecule called hemocyanin to trasnport Oxygen.
Hemocyanin binds oxygen but only releases it after it receives the right chemical signal. For every of the 24 sub-units there is special chemical signal. Depending on the need for oxygen a cell can give more or less signals. Beside these signals the release of oxygen is also controlled by temperature. Every sub-unit has a specific temperature optimum.

You immune system will have a huge shock and start attacking the spiders blood, which will probabily relese the oxygen contained in the hemocyanin, causing a huge reaction which would kill you, then again, if you survive that - depending on the enzimes in the spiders blood for malting, you may find your skin will fall off!!

Firstly, your body will try its very best to "PURGE" out the foreign antigen.

If it fails, you will suffer very very badly and then die.

If it succeeds, you will either be totally wore out due to your body's reaction or still live happily.

Either way, you are not very smart by injecting spider blood into your body. THIS IS NO WAY TO BECOME SPIDERMAN.

p.s. I just have the feeling that this has something got to do with the recent Spiderman questions.

And why would you do that for, might I ask? It is known medically that different type of blood is not safe to transfuse to patients. How much more a spider or other types of blood? Before you do such things you might want to research it good. You might become a blood scientist after.

In real medical terms you probably could not make it through the first pint because of the of histamines and vasoconstriction of all blood vessels, basic thickening of the body on cellular level resulting in the bodys response of releasing everything possible to fight itself and coagulating into stopped up blood, very thick, and very unable to pump.

You would go into anaphylactic shock from your body's immune system attacking this "non self".

If you have type A blood, you can't get type B blood, so how on earth could you cross species?
