I think it's habit. Someone feels bad or gets hurt, we say sorry whether it's our fault or not.

The totally wrong concept in people's mind today is that the one who says sorry is the weak one. This is not the case. If you have a misunderstanding with some one and if you don't say sorry, that misunderstanding will grow and give birth to hatred. Therefore, apologize to the person even if you are not wrong. This will create love and respect for you in his/her heart and you would get an additional friend instead of an enemy.

I think one should only say they are sorry if they are responsible for the caused action. Then it is not a sign of weakness.

Yes, if its not your fault, what do you have to be sorry for? if you are trying to make up with someone, tell them you are sorry that yall got in a fight. I would rather hear the truth than a lie, even when the lie is what i think i want to hear. good luck

it really depends on the situation. i think it can show strength because you are willing to accept the blame for something even if you don't need to. but it is definitely not good for you to apologize for everything.

No, but I'm a peacemaker. Say sorry, and move on
unless it's something big.
