Basically, how do you think humanity would have been different if you didn't exist?

There is at least one reason why people are here. They may never know what that reason is but they are the balance of something in this lifetime and during this period. No one really knows what their importance is but there is something or else we wouldn't be here. How do I feel and how would it be if I were not here. Well in my line of work I think I make a big differance in the lives of others and how they view their lives. I have lived the way they are and I know what it is like because I was in the same place they are now. So if my reason for being here means I need to put smiles on peoples faces then I am doing a fine job. And I am glad I am here.

Well, it is not possible to know, because I would have to live my life till my death and then answer your question. On the other hand changing something of the past creates a different present and future. So, if I didn't exist then perhaps someone might had been borned in my place which would turn out to be a serial killer and kill tens of people or it could be a spiritual leader that would enlighten thousands of people and change the world. You can't really know...

Well, no doubt there would be a lot less people in the world. Since I have children and grandchildren. Also I guess, to extrapolate, there WILL be descendants of all of them as well that also would not be alive if I was not born.
I have tried in my life to live an honourable life and to pass on the lessons I have learned, and continue to do that. So I guess that there would be a loss in that aspect as well.
I did not save anyone's life, or do anything dramatic that I know of. But no doubt the world would be a little different if I was not born.
Thank you for opening my mind to this series of thoughts.

It wouldn't change a thing. There are billions of people on this Earth who I don't even know exist. And they don't know I exist so it wouldn't change a thing.

there would of been one less voice speaking against racism,,,,, and hitting children,,,,, and one less for equality, respecting all life and the earth,,, there would be more trees, as im a liberal who doesnt happen to like trees and shade and leaves, i like the sun!

I can't imagine there would be any difference.
Except for my daughter. I'm sure she'd be annoyed because she wouldn't be at all.
