None of those players are the best players in the NFL. MVP,god,hall of famer, what ever you want to call him Landainan Tomlinson is the best player in the world! He is leading the legue in rushing yards, a great reciever, and even has thrown for some touchdowns. His team will win the super bowl this year and he will break every record thorughout his journey to the super bowl. But if you asked me to pick from those 3 players you listed I would pick Portis because Moss is washed up and is doing nothing for the raiders and vick might not keep his job as QB. But LT is the best player now and maybe of all time!

Based on statistics, I would have to say it is a toss-up between Tomlinson and Peyton Manning. Vick is NOT a good player--just look at his pass rating--moss plays for a horrendous team, and portis is good, but has been hurt more than half the year, so he is definately not up on the list.

QB -- Drew Brees -- 4,240 yards
RB -- LaDainian Tomlinson -- 1,626 rushing yards
WR -- Chad Johnson -- 1,284 yards.
Not only does this have to do with stats, but it is their value to their team. Before Brees came to New Orleans, they were terrible. Now, they have a chance at the 2nd seed in the NFC. Without Tomlinson, the Chargers probably wouldn't have a chance in the AFC, since he accounts for nearly half of their points. Chad Johnson has been Carson Palmer's main target all year. The Bengals a good receiving core, but Johnson is the best there is right now.
