Misfit Doll (voiced by Corinne Conley) is an unnamed, but seemingly normal girl rag doll. Her presence on the island is never explained, although it has been said that her problem is more "psychological" than physical
I think it is that she is not loved

My friends and I were watching Rudolph a couple of years ago and we asked the same thing. Our theory is that she's in fact a hermaphrodite and she was transported to the Island of Misfit Toys because her boy parts might be deemed inappropriate for little girls and her girl parts inappropriate for little boys. It's a shame...
