Was there anything that went wrong on your trip, something extra special, did you make a mistake in your second language that turned out bad or funny (please explain and if not in Spanish please translate)
Here's mine- I had planned to go to Oaxaca, Mexico to study for 2 weeks. About a month or so before leaving I met my boyfriend (who is now my husband and is Mexican by the way) So I don't know if Oaxaca was as bad as I say...or it was just because I had a better option...but I didn't like it and called my husband's parents to see if I could stay with them (in a different state....I had never met them...only been with my boyfriend about a month and was my first time in a foreign country and I was traveling alone) So I went to Hidalgo and I had a great time with my in-laws. Oaxaca was very beautiful, but my host family had too many other students and only did it for the money.

I went to Barcelona, and the good was it was a great time, I met a lot of cool people and had the time of my life.

The bad - well the dorms we were supposed to live in weren't finished when we got there, so we had to live without AC, washer/dryer, Internet and phone service. Our program was so intense that we had 5 hours of homework a day. I just stopped caring and settled for a lesser grade and more time to go out and have fun. Our program director treated us like little kids even though he was about 30 and I was 21 and many others were in their early to mid 20s as well. Oh yeah, they don't speak "Spanish" (Castellano) in Barcelona either...oops!

Overall, I had a really good time though.

The good, I met some o my best friends on my way to Rome, Italy. The bad, I stayed with a french family for three day and did nothing. They didn't really speak English well(Except the mum eho worked half the day) and none of my friends in the house spoke french very well... Also, while we were in Paris we went on a cruise. All of my friends but one fell asleep, so my friend that wasn't decided to have some fun. We started whistling and waving at all the guys we passed on land. First funny part is that one of the guys was making out wioth his girlfriend when we started cheering and he pushed her off and started yelling in frenh back at us! Then, we later whistled at a guy who, from far away was really cute, you got closer and he must have been atleast 60! he whistled back, and the next day, he jogged right by us! One of the best things though, my friend tested the mentos and diet coke... in her mouthy and spit it all in the Thames(London)! We had alot of fun!
