As your attorney, I advise you to go home right now, get drunk and play GHII.... Oh yeah....bone your wife too.

If you want your job I suggest you stay. Try to find something else that needs to be done. It depends if you are paid by the hour or the job. It sounds as if you are paid by the hour. If you do decide to go home tell your boss tomorrow why you left early. What if he calls at work and wants you to do something else or just checks to see if you are there? Sounds like you are new at the job and don't quite understand the ropes. If you are that efficient I'm sure your boss will pleased to find that out too.

If you are supposed to work until 9PM, then you are supposed to at least be there until then. If you feel that your presence is not absolutely necessary, ask your boss if it's ok if you leave early since you have finished your work (or ask for something else to do to keep you busy until 9:00 - that should really impress your boss).

Stay at work and "look busy" - I know it sucks, but sometimes you have to do that. If the boss thinks you can get the job done in less time, he'll just end up sending you home earlier all the time, and you'll end up making less money!

The turn is called job abandonment--leaving without permission. Are you paid hourly? Who is your supervisor, and where is he/she doing your working hours? Where you instructed to do a certain job, and when you finish you can go home? To leave just because you are bored is not a good reason. If your supervisor is not present, call them on the phone or call someone who has seniority over you. Never take it on yourself to leave a business without prior instructions from your supervisor.

Go home if you're tired of being there and don't have to stay. If there's more pay involved and you need the money, stay. You're just goofing on computer anyway...I say stay and make the easy money!

You should stay the duration. Look for something productive to do. No one is EVER done with their work. I am sure there is something you could do to make your work more organized, better communication, etc.

Stay there for now but talk to your employer and see if you can work a swing schedule to make sure you don't get fired for leaving to early.

Stay. Your boss may show up at 8:45 just to check on you.
