Automatic code search
To program the remote control to operate your TV, perform the following steps:
1. Turn on the TV.
2. On the remote control, press and hold the TV button.
3. While holding the TV button, press and hold the on·off button. Hold both buttons until the TV button on the remote control turns on, and then release the buttons.
4. Point the remote control at the TV. Press and release the play button, and then wait 5 seconds or until the TV button stops flashing.
The remote control searches for the correct code. When the correct code is found, the TV turns off. If the TV does not turn off after 5 seconds, repeat Step 4.
If the remote control is unable to locate the correct code, the component buttons flash, the TV button turns off, and the remote control exits automatic code search mode.
5. On the remote control, press and release the Reverse button, and then wait 2 seconds.
The TV turns on. If it does not, repeat Step 5.
6. To exit automatic code search, from the remote control, press and hold the Stop button until the TV button turns off.
