file a complaint with child protective services. file charges with police for child endangerment and then petition for supervised visits only so he wont have the chance to dump the kid again.
or you can make arrangements to do the drop off adn pick up from visits

Get some help from your family, if you are saying you are the receiver of the baby. If he left the baby at a stranger's doorstep, call the police. If the baby is yours, love it and do your best by it, even if you have to get help from child services. I will pray for you. I'm a pretty good prayer warrior. God bless!

A. First of all you need to take in to account what exactly happen,
does the baby live with you? was is that he was seeing the baby for a while then brought her home knowing you was in the house and wanted to avoid you, Then drove of before seeing you. or does the child live with the father? If he drove of before seeing you, you need sort your self's out and act like parents. if the baby lives with father why is a baby living with ther father a baby needs her mother a Father knows that and you need fix up and be a MOTHER.

it seems you don't live together and he had custody, you came in as a long shot! sometimes running after the father of your baby is the wrong thing. if you don't need him to help take care of the baby (family there) and you already know he don't want it, then it's not for the baby that you would give him a second thought, it would be for selfish reasons. now look for a father with the child in mind. you had your turn.

I'd pray that he gets a brain.

Who leaves a baby on a doorstep; what if nobody was home for instance? I don't care if it's the mother's house or not. He needs to get a clue.

Definately report him.

Call the law, have him picked up for abandoning the baby. Should make him think twice before sticking the baby on the doorstep next time.

First learn to use the letter 'S', and learn how to speak English so you can raise a kid that won't be 13 and asking "Who MY baby daddy?"
And you wonder why "Your baby daddy leave the baby at the doorstep and drive away?"
Geez, go get fixed. THAT'S what you should do.
