my husband got an interview with a better more stable company a few weeks before he took the job with company A, Compay promised that since the job was n toledo ohio, that they would compensate him with a ca/gas allowence as well as keeping his hours to 5 days,8 hours each with the occassional late nite or saturday, however the very first week he was gone 12 hours not 8-10, they also did not want to hire an assistant that would do the filing and paperwork,as they promised him. It is in his letter of employment, then it got worse, so when company B asked my husband for a second interview he went. Company B offered him a beter job closer to home with better scheduling and etc. So obviosly my husband put in his 2 week resignation letter with company A. It was a Mondat several weeks ago. Another employee at company A also wanted the position, however did not get it, so when employee from comcompany A put 2 and 2 together, he started to slander my husbands name to anyone who would listen.

So therefore company A decided to fire my fiance/husband(we've been together so long we might as well be married, just never filed for a piece of paper) and told company B that he walked off the job, we have the proof that it is alie, we kept the fax transmission and the wriiten mailed copy. The employee at Company A then found all kinds of false accusations and told company b, which resulted in company B terminating my husband. It is all heresay and we have plenty of witnesses and letters as well as a paper trail that employe A went to several companies and slandered my husbands reputation, which for 6 years has been perfect. We just want to make sure we cross all our t's and dot our i's. We do not want it to burn us later that we did not file with the e.e.o.c. or b.b.b. or whomever first. PLEASE HELP. oUR CHRISTMAS IS RUINED AND WE ARE AFRAID TO FALL TO FAR BEHIND IN OUR BILLS.

Hey, as an X ( retired ) plant Engineer, you had best forget it.
You can sue but in the long run, you'll loose.
He might get a job with another company but eventually he will loose his job for some reason.
You do not step on the big boy's toes and get away with it.
The word will go out... Every time he needs a resume, some person will contact the company where he worked..
Oh Oh Oh ...he pulled a booner.. It is like spanking a child for not doing something that you said he did. Forget it.
Forget it and get on with your life. YOU CAN NOT BUCK THE BIG COMPANIES. You may win the battle, but, you will loose the war.
