no.. you can only safely lose 1-2 lbs a week

you could try doing atkins, but it won't really do anything in few days.

Seriously, there is no healthy way to lose 2.5 pounds per day. Even if you starved yourself you would not lose that much.

UNLESS you are grotesquely obese...I have heard of extreme situations where a person lost 10 pounds in their first week of a new diet.

You could fast and only drink water but you know that is not healthy. There is no healthy way to lose that much weight in that little time. If there was a way, some would be rich.

If you were to drink nothing but grapefruit juice it could be possible. Go get a few jugs of grapefruit juice and drink as much as you can. Don't go crazy over it or anything like that, but drink as much as you can.
Your body holds a lot of water. By drinking only grapefruit juice it takes the water content out of your body by flushing it out and causing you to weigh less. It will not dehydrate you. Grapefruit juice keeps you hydrated but with out the water weight.
You don't necessarily look thinner, but you will weigh less.
I knew a teacher who did this and it worked. He did it because he was in a competition of who could lose the most weight in the least amount of time and he won.
Go figure!

Contract a raging case of diarrhea.

That and I once saw on a real old episode of Saturday Night Live where they were advertising a new weight loss plan. Then the camera pulled back and revealed that the people had lost weight by cutting off their legs.

It sucks I know. I am on a diet myself.

I would not recommend trying to do this, you could cause major electrolyte imbalances trying to loose that amount of weight that quickly and additionally become dehydrated if you use a diuretic to loose "water weight". I also want to warn you not to try and "flush your system" by drinking tons of water because this can cause various serious problems also. I'd hate to see you try to loose an unrealistic amount of weight and end up in the hospital for Chirstmas! My advise is to enjoy the holidays and don't worry about your weight...don't we all gain weight around this time of year?

Well it would be dangerous but you could do it.

You don't eat period, drink alot of water, and exercise about 4 hours a day.

I want you to realize though that this is very dangerous. It won't feel like it but you can get iron/potassium/vitamin deficency then you will have to go to the hospital.

I lost close to 10 pounds in 5 days. When you lose weight, it's usually water weight that goes first. I drank only slimfast for those 5 days and munched on vegetables. It worked for me. BUT, when you start to eat again make sure you don't over endulge yourself with too much food. You can gain twice the weight. Start off eating smaller portions.

it probably is possible.u need to eat only salads n fruit,they hav no fat.you should also do a lot of cardio excercises and run between 10 - 20 km each day.it depends a lot on your mindset,ie.if you tell yourself that you can suceed,then the chances are you will suceed.
