Honestly, I wouldn't be concerned with the snow storm

BUT I DO think the roads aren't preferable for driving on. The I-70 stretch between Denver and Kansas is really long--and Kansas goes on forever. I think they'll mainly rely on the sun for melting it. Even if a plow got through there--there's probably a ton of snow and ice on it.

Not worth the headache--and that's even IF they open up that stretch of road by saturday.

Any way you can post pone it until next week?

Considering ice and snow and accidents...this trip might become more headache than it is worth...Can you wait a few days and reschedule? Or perhaps fly? If it is that close the flight should be cheap and worth it!!!

If it were me I would postpone it! Better safe than sorry. However if you do go be sure to take some emergency stuff and a cell/with battery charger for the car etc. I would sit tight however.

You could go but I anticipate the trip might take several hours. Have the roads been cleared? I'd wait a while.
