Hopefully you used the "System Restore" program that came with your computer. It is on the hard drive (start, all programs, PC help and tools, system restore) Or, it came on your Recovery CD, that came with your computer.
If not, you are better off to consult with a reputable computer repair tech, at a local computer store!
Was the computer wireless ready, out of the box? Or did you have to use the Windows XP's internet connection wizard, to set it up? Check your "?" HELP icon, to go to get help with the problem.
Or go to Microsoft.com, and check their website for answers.
Good Luck!!!

yeh man that the ticket. screw driversand a pair of pliars plus tape need electrick tape to wire things up right. sometimes it helps to use heavy duty aluminum foil to clean up with. try vacuuming out the box. i found a dead mouse in mine. really. how it sqeezed in seems impossible but it was there and i did have a mouse problem at that apt. once you have all your tools and supplies assembled start fixing! when you have it all wire properly then close the box and screw it. see, how easy it is to maintain computers. nothing to it.
