No. They do not have to have an actual bed or bedroom. They must have a place to sleep, but sleeping on a couch is allowed. Sleeping on an inflatable bed is allowed. I would not allow them to sleep in the same bed as the parent-that may be taken the wrong way.

Gosh, in Indiana, noncustodial parent's home, where ever, every one deserves a bed. I think some same sex siblings who are close in age can share a bed, otherwise get some bunk beds or a trundle bed. Even is there is little space, the beds can still be stacked up.

The Indiana state code actually says nothing on the subject. Because of this, I would give the answer to your question as no, mostly because the custodial parent's home is the child's primary place of residence.
