Look, just because you paid for the client, you are not entitled to download music for free. The artists get none of the money you paid to get the client. And the only reason that these programs still exist is because they can be used legitimately, even though they almost never are. It is truly sad how few people on this site realize that Peer to Peer networks are illegal, and sadder still that Yahoo administrators do nothing to discourage this practice.

Edit: The only reason I care is because so many people are being misinformed. I honestly could care less about the artists.

as much as I agree with your sentiments and your message, this is the same battle that VCR makers had fought and won back in the 80's (Universal Studios VS Sony). If a tool has a legitimate use, then it can be deemed illegal (or illegal to use).

Blame the makers of the program for advertising their programs for such use. Blame them for not establish a market to allow legitimate use of their program.
