New Years Eve, sit at home, slippers on, feet propped up, and relax - New Years Day, I will cook the traditional feast and we will all munch, visit and chat.

My husband and I are going on a mini backpack trip. It's less than 1/2 mile from the car but is on a creek and isolated. New Years eve will be beautiful with him, a bottle of champagne and hopefully a light snow falling.

We have lobster and scrimp on Christmas and New Years Eve. We stay up to hear the New Year rung in in different time zones.

I'm hoping to be curled up on the couch in my NEW living room we are in the process of building. Watching a good movie(and eating all kinds of goodies)...and listening to the police scanner. I really don't enjoy going out...I'd rather be at home where I know it's safe!
