"Can frogs give you warts?
Don't be silly! Warts are caused by a virus, not by frogs.
This common myth probably originated because many toads have bumps on their skin that that look like warts. The large bumps behind the toad's ears (the parotoid glands) contain a nasty poison. It not only tastes bad but also irritates the mouth of any predators who try to eat toads, and can cause convulsions or even death. You should be careful in handling toads and always wash your hands afterwards."

I've always handled frogs/toads, since I was a small child. I've never gotten sick, or gotten any warts. Just make sure you wash your hands after handling one, especially if it's wild. Just common sense there.

They cannot give you warts - but if you play with them and dont wash your hands after ... that could lead to illness.

hell no! but if you don't wash your hands before and after playing with them they can get sick, i have 4 frogs and I'm 11!

Yes. They have salmonella in their skin excretions. I don't know about the warts part.
you could always kiss one and see if you turn into a prince.

no, they cant give you warts but if they have a disease then they can give you the disease.
