You'll get a letter in the mail stating you have been selected for Jury Duty. Depending on the case you could possibly be screened by the judge/DA/defense before being accepted as a Juror.

All you have to do is call the court clerk and tell him you would like to serve on the jury and he will be happy to have you seated on a jury. And i bet you money that you will wish you had never heard of the word jury before you get off it.
