YES!!!!!xbox live is the best service of all. when you do not have friends with you then you do not want to be alone, so go online and have some fun with makeshift teams. its only like 50 bucks for a whole year, thats about 4 buck a month. while the ps3 is supposed to have free online why would any game be online if it was free, and how good would it be. plus the 360 has online experience from the first one. while the ps3 is flyin blind. the games arent that much different, but the 360 controller feels amazing in your hand. Also the blue ray i heard wasnt great, and to get the amazing grafix you have to have a tv with 1080i. they are expensive!!!like 4 grand for a 42 inch. plus what good is it if you do not play with friends(so get the 360).
MY OPINION:
1 get a 360
2 get play and charge
3 get gears of war (360 only, and its amazing)
4 go to where ever and make fun of people with the ps3

to be honest 360 is a great system but the playstation 3 is a lot better. people say that since its $600 its not worth it. but think of it this way if you add all the features that the ps3 has to the xbox360 not including graphics or processor the cost of the xbox 360 will be a lot higher than $600. plus ur getting a blu-ray player which stand alone run at $999. since ps3 is a new system it will not have as much games as the 360 but sony has proven to hav lots of games for the ps2 so all u have to do is wait till march 07. now if ur a HD person sony is difintly ur answer cuz the ps3 spits out 1080p resolution while the 360 maxes out at 1080i. (p is better than i.) also microsoft is a good company but its for softwares but sony is an electronics company and they already have 12 years of experiece of making game systems since the first playstaion, than means that sony is more reliable. over all playstaion 3 is the better systme to buy. now is u r in desperate need to get a game system go ahead and buy the 360 u wont regret it but sony ps3 is the real nex-gen systme.

I even have tried it on the Microsoft save in lonetree and its no longer terrible. It does have some lag interior the reaction yet no better than a wiimote does. the video games slated for it are no longer that super so because it quite is a con. i might wait till its been out approximately 6 months or a year and notice how many builders initiate making good video games for it and how lots microsoft is integrating it into the 360 as an entire. It has fairly some potential yet at present it quite is all it has so basically wait and save an eye fixed on it.

After all that make sure when you buy it you check through the little hole in the box by the seriel # and check the build date of the unit make sure you get the closest build date to your purchase .and make sure it comes with the new fans,,, because they have a tendancy to overheat and scratch discs. Then if you connect to 360 live make sure you keep up with the updates to your dashboard do all of this you will be good. i say x-box much better than ps3 i've had many many more playstations mess up than any other system

it depends. X-Box games are better, but SONY has better graphics. I want the PS3 and X-Box 360, but i would get an X-Box, the PS3 has some problems that need to be worked out.
I think X-Box live cost money, PS3 online is free though.

It's only worth what you are willing to pay for it. Each person's assessment of worth is different!
In my opinion, it isn't worth it - yet. Wait till the PS3 really gets out into more homes and then the 360 should come down in price.

Yes, its better than a PS3 because it is more affordable and it has the same games with good enough graphics.

Yes it is but it all depends on what you like for me I do not like playing games on X-box I do not know what it is but I don't. so the only system I like PlayStation so I went for a PS3
