me and hubby are sexually active. im 22 yrs old. im 2 months late on my period. instead of my period i had brown spotting off and on for a week. my breasts have been achy for the past week. the day before yesterday my right abdominal area was cramping for 20 mins and it went away and then yesterday my left abdominal was cramping and then it went away. i got a NEG for my pap smear and thyroid. had a blood preg test over a week ago and it was NEG. i was checked by a doctor and all she said was that my uterus was enlarged, so she ordered me a ultrasound. im also breaking out in acne and i normally dont have any at all any ideas what could be up?

The pregnancy hormone in your blood could just be too low to detect. Sounds like you're pregnant. Those were my symptoms- sore boobs and cramping like I had my period, though no spotting. That ultrasound will show if there's a baby in there- good luck!!

you may have an ectopic pregnancy, but i suppose you would have tested positive for the pregnancy test due to HCG levels...but it sounds like an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside of the endometrium- most likely in the ampulla of the fallopian tube)... also, have them do a screen for some of the common pituitary hormone target hormones (i.e. cortisol, prolactin, testosterone, estrogen, progesterone-as some of these can cause acne and hair growth in abnormal places on a woman-i.e. chin/beard/cheek areas ) as it seems you may have a hormonal problem
