I don't know about Northeastern, but yes, colleges can kick you out after being accepted and yes, you do need to maintain a certain GPA. Check their website - it might have the information you need.

Yes they can kick you out if you don't keep up with your grades or fail any classes. It depends on what their standards are, but most are 2.0 minimum.

This kid who was accepted into UC Berkeley failed one of his class during the 2nd semester of his senior year of high school. Then in August of his freshmen year of college, just when he was able to move into the dorm and everything, they kicked them out as they went over his overall high school transcript.

Please be aware that most colleges require you to submit a high school transcript after you graduate high school. So it's best to keep up with your grades.

Most colleges have a standard of 2.0, or a C average to remain there in good standing. You can be put on probatiuon if you fail to make a C average, but possibly for only about two semesters.

You should be able to find it in the college catalog. Generally, if your GPA drops below 2.0, they may put you on academic probation. They may give you a quarter to improve your grades and get off probation, but if you continue to do poorly they can go to academic suspension.
