Im sick of having jehovah witness knocking my door . I also sick of having religious paraphnalia put through my door . I made a concious decision not to be brianwashed into beliveing something that I and others simply can Justify .
I dont ever try to convince people to join the atheiests of this world nor do I ever try to be nasty to any people I know whom are religious . So why is it that these things keep coming through my door (UNWANTED) and how dare Jehovah Witnesses knock my door who gives you the right . If I wanted any religious Information for any reason then I would take myself to a place where I can get it . This cant be legal to knock my door unsolicited .

Jesus told his followers "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

I am one of Jesus' followers. So, I take that command seriously. Believe me I know there are a large number of people who are irritated by it. However, there are those we find who are searching. As such, I will keep on knocking until the conclusion of the system of things looking for even that one single person left who is still looking for what Jehovah's people possess.

The entire earth is a large territory to cover. So to know exactly who lives where, and who has moved, who will never be interested, who has had a change of heart, etc. is much too difficult. Which is why we do continue to go to each and every door.

A common misconception is that Jehovah's Witnesses go from door-to-door because they feel it is their duty to get a householder to "join". In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them!

That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.

(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.

Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

haha learn to spell and do some grammar checks What on earth is a "fone"? And you can't "sew" a school. Getting a needle and thread through a building... i mean, wow. But i think that you shouldn't have your phone in your pocket at school, simple as that. Still, it /is/ her property and other people shouldn't read her text messages.

Christians have been told to go forth and preach to the nations. Sounds to me that you really need to hear the word!

I'm not a Jehovah's witness, but can empathize with their following the directive.

I had a jehovas witness come to my house and they gave my partner a pamphlet on how to be a better father. If their child needed a blood transfusion they would refuse and let them die. Is that good parenting. Yeah believe what you believe, but why do they think they can go around on a crusade to save everybody else.

I think its part of their belief to try to "save" you. I admire them in some ways because you can imagine to abuse they get and still they keep going. I find it fun to humour them and ask daft questions like is there a bar up there cos loving god for an eternity sounds a bit boring

Nice rant. Being an athiest, I agree with you. Can you imagine if we stood outside a church asking people not to believe in God cause he's a fake and its been invented by people who need a way to explain away all the things they don't understand. We would be arrested.

Anybody can knock on your door if they want to...it's not against the law. Just don't answer when they knock. And if you don't want their books and stuff, put a sign on your mailbox saying "no religious material". Why are you so angry about it? I'm sure there are more important things in life.

When you open the door and see it's not some one you want...start barking, just stand there and bark and bark and bark. They'll soon go
