how do u unlock locked ringtones on cingular phones???

i have a motorola razr v3 and i was wondering if anyone knew a code of any kind or something to do to unlock my locked ringtones... if u could that would help alot!!!! ty!!!!

I have always heard that you cannot unlock them.
