My ballroom teachers danced at a school dance once, and I thought it was the cutest thing.

Truthfully, I think its' a beautiful thing! We never can just DANCE these days. I think it would be great to go to a dance and not be treated like sum whore a guy wants to dance on. I'd like to dance WITH someone for a change.That is the reason I skip those things, no one shows any class. Today its' all about grinding:it gets old after a while.

My high school makes it mandatory for every junior to take half a semester of dance. It's mostly line dances and square dancing, but they do one partner dance, the foxtrot, so at junior prom you always see a bunch of people foxtrotting as a joke. Sometimes a square sets too, lol ;) We do a semester of ballroom as seniors, too, so senior prom you get a few tangoes ;) It's cute and is a lot of fun.

Yes. I wish more people knew how to do it. My school taugh ballroom as an elective course, so everyone had a chance to show off at school dances if they felt like it. When people have no clue how to do it they will tell you "it's just stupid" because they can't.

I think its cute... at least when the dancers know what they're doing, otherwise it makes other people think, " Why would anyone want to do that? They look stupid! I'm never gonna do that!".......... I think its awesome when you see someone actually dancing at school dances... not the slutty-grindy-whorish stuff you see.

I think so. That is dancing that people would enjoy watching. And it takes practice to do. I love it. It is so graceful and elegant.

i only think its ok (notice i didnt say cute) for REAL ballroom dancers to ballroom dance, but kids... now thats just stupid. lol. idk. its my opinion.
