We will supposedly have one currency the "amero." Our american constitution and bill of rights will no longer exist since the US won't exist either.

Absolutely.

Americans have the best living standard in North America (but if it is Canada, America's damn close). Bringing in the ****hole that is Mexico will severely bring down that standard.

Allof the previous responders don't seem to understand one thing:
The reason that the Euro works is that all member countries have to keep both inflation and national debt constrained within a very narrow range. Mexico is years away from meeting any reasonable criteria in this respect.
In addition, anybody that seriously thinks that the constitution of the US will abruptly go away is an idiot. Even Bush isn't that stupid.

"P.S. your constitution is supplemented by the United Nation's "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" which was written by Canadian John Peters Humphrey. Your inward looking nation violates it daily and doesn't even know or care about it's existence."

The US Constitution is supplemented by the UN's document, eh? Makes you wonder how the US even made it the previous 175+/- years. As to processed food, etc, ad nauseum... Dude, get real! Canada is just as messed up as the US. As a matter of fact, if not for the Commonwealth, I dare say Canada may not have fared as well as it has. Save your insults for yourself, lest you get insulted by others.

You think you Americans should be worried!
Us Canadians dread the day. We don't want American things like hand guns, bloods, crips, low taxes that don't allow for proper public services, processed foods that are processed by poor immigrants, on and on...

Try the Council of Canadians for our perspective.

To answer your question:
NO!
(Americans are caught in a system where apathy reigns and big money controls the media).

I sure wish they would though.

P.S. Your constitution is supplemented by the United Nation's "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" which was written by Canadian John Peters Humphrey. Your inward looking nation violates it daily and doesn't even know of,or care about, it's existence.

P.S.S. We already joined the dreaded low wage Mexico with the flawed NAFTA. Notice that our manufacturing, living wage, job base is going away? Don't watch FOX news. It's not journalism.

This certainly is news to me. Who cares what currency we have? I don't think that the nation-states of Europe have disappeared under the EU. You know, it really doesn't matter--nation-states are a relatively recent (few hundred years) invention of people. Look how much anguish this invisibile thing called the "border" has inflicted on the lives of too many people.

Why would that happen? Canada would not do it, Mexico would though. The US is the only country with any power in North America, I doubt very much this will happen.

I sure hope we do. Can you imagine, like our President hasn't done enough damage to our country, he now wants to make it non-existent.
