Stupid question, but I've noticed that some maternity clothes make me look pregnant, while others make me look like a blob. Has anyone else had this experience or is it just me? Maybe I'm just too excited to really start showing....

I hear ya!!! Same here! ALl the maternity clothes make me look huge! While my regular clothes (pants don't close) you can't even tell i'm pregnant! My mom and my boyfriend laugh when they go clothes shopping with me because I hate everything!

well i havent experienced that but i'm sure some maternity clothes fit better than others. try specialty stores that sell only maternity clothes. i know theres a mall near where i live (los angeles county) that sells fashionable maternity clothes. i'm sure pregnant woment arent supposed to look great in ALL the styles, so its probably normal that you either look like a blob or pregnant. good luck though!

Yes in fact I have. I am normally a size 13/14 in pants and a small or medium in shirts and blouses-soooooo what I have done is begun shopping in the plus size section and I get cute clothes that fit great and are stylish,without spending "maternity clothes" money!!!!!

Looking pregnant is the in thing, have u seen the "big stars" they just flash that fact, go tight girl, and be proud, God is about to create a miracle for YOU!

maternity clothes usually run a little larger than what you actually wear. my advise is to try on a size smaller than your pre-pregnancy size.
