I'm asking this just to check this isn't some odd tv reference or somesuch. But a collegaue of mine has, for the last eight days, been giving me very nice pencils and saying 'enjoy your pencil'. This isn't a come on from him, we're both happily straight men. But why is he doing this? I asked him, and he simply said tha I looked as though I was in dire need to daily pencil replenishment.

Well, if he said that you looked like you were in dire need for the pencils, you must look very hungry!

Maybe you can erase pencil marks, but not biro....it could be a hint as to you possibly making a mistake or two??? Sorry!!

Probably because he has extra pencils, and hes giving them to you.
