There's no need to. You can certainly try it if you want to, but it does itch pretty badly, and the maintenance is a pain.
I prefer to just trim the sides so nothing sticks out of a bathing suit. :)

Waxing is the only way to go. You won't have the stubble that you have with shaving. Wax is so very smooth. Don't worry about the doctor. They have seen just about everything and should not judge you if your hairless down there. It's nothing to be embarrassed about.

That's up to you sweety, I don't know one way or the other anymore about this stuff. I do know my wife complains when she shave from the itching when it grows back and she doesn't have time to shave again. So, once you start, it's like a monster.
