It sounds like they have their days and nights turned around. Very common problem with babies. I would recommend the book "On Becoming Baby Wise" by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam It was a life saver for me. Basically you get them on a schedule that helps them get their days and nights straightened out. For example, you get them on a 3 hour feeding schedule (3,6,9,12 etc.) For the feedings in the daytime and early evening you feed them, change their diapers and keep them up for 20 minutes or so before you put them down for a nap. For the late night and early morning feedings, you change their diapers, feed them and put them directly back to bed. Just do the essentials, don't play with them, talk loudly etc. it will help them learn that during those hours, it's "quiet time". I will tell you this, it will take a lot of work and patience to get them on a schedule, but once on it, it's a life saver! Also remember that there will be nights when they don't follow the schedule exactly especially if they're going through growth spurts an they'll want to eat more often but then they will return to the schedule. Good luck.

Try keeping them up most of the day and about 9 or 10 at night the should be sleepy and they should sleep all night. That's what i did with my daughter she is 3 months old and she sleeps all night I put her to sleep about 9:30 or 10 at night and she sleeps and doesn't wake until about 7 in the morning.

When they wake at night leave the lights as dim as you can, try not to talk, don't change their diapers unless it's really necessary and hopefully they'll realize that it's just not that fun and go to sleep. Good luck and congrats on the twins!

when they go down to sleep at the naptime prior to nightime - go in and wake them up an hour early - meaning if they go to sleep from 6-10 and 12-3am wake them at 9 pm - 2 days later 8 pm and so on...they will start going to sleep at 9pm and sleeping till 6/7 am....

cut their nap times down a bit during the day. And don't let them get up at night. Which is probably hard because one keeps the other up. You've got your hands full, and I feel for you honey.
